Kelsey Mitchell continues to rewrite the WNBA record books.
The Indiana Fever guard made history on Thursday night against the Dallas Wings. She extended her scoring streak to 21 consecutive regular-season games with at least 20 points.

The performance gave Mitchell the longest 20-point streak in WNBA regular-season history. She moved past Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson, who reached 20 straight games across the 2023 and 2024 campaigns.

Mitchell breached the 20-point mark before halftime. She received the ball off an inbounds pass from Caitlin Clark. The four-time All-Star attacked the basket hard and finished with a layup.
The veteran guard’s scoring streak has become one of the biggest stories of the Fever‘s season. She entered the Dallas matchup averaging 24.3 points per game. She has also shot 50.7 percent from the field and 44.3 percent from three-point range through 33 games.

Mitchell broke her own franchise record for most points in a single season. She reached 891 points during Thursday’s matchup, needing 37 games to set the new mark.
The achievement adds another milestone to her remarkable 2026 campaign. Mitchell already owned the franchise’s single-season scoring record. Now, she has raised the bar even higher.

The Fever selected Mitchell second overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft. She has spent her entire professional career with them and has developed into one of the their most reliable offensive weapons. The WNBA lists her career averages at 18.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
