LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Monday’s official Dana White’s Contender Series 89 fighter weigh-ins, where all 10 fighters hit their marks.
For the third event of the season, 10 fighters will vie for UFC contracts in their fights, including women’s bantamweights Bella Mir (4-0) and Alex Apodaca (3-1), who headline the show. Mir, the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, was 136 pounds. Apodaca was a half-pound under at 135.5

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Las Vegas. The Meta APEX hosts Tuesday’s card, which streams on Paramount+.
