Last week’s game between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky broke viewership records and is still circulating in the media because of the attention Enes Kanter Freedom drew after being kicked out during the game.
On Tuesday, Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter issued a formal home-game ban to Kanter Freedom for his actions Sunday night. Alter stated he will not be allowed to attend games, “unless sometime in the future he’s able to prove to us, to our satisfaction, that he is able to abide by our rules without being a potential threat.” Kanter Freedom recently wrote a letter to the WNBA protesting his innocence and demanding an explanation on the basis of ejection.

Last night, Kanter Freedom took to Fox News to discuss his grievances with the Chicago Sky and owner Michael Alter.
“So for them to come out and throw me out of the game, and literally, um, you know, they said, ‘his actions was equal to shooting a gun,’ I just can’t believe it. I don’t know who’s his PR person but they’re doing a terrible job, so we might be looking into a lawsuit for sure because this is unacceptable,” Kanter Freedom said in an interview with Sean Hannity.
Kanter Freedom sat down with Outkick’s Jackson Thompson to discuss the matter further.

“I’m not talking about against the WNBA, but I think against Michael Alter and the Chicago Sky for sure,” Freedom told Thompson.
“Like, I don’t think they know what they’re talking about…Me and my legal team will definitely be taking actions against Chicago Sky and Michael Alter.”
Kanter Freedom said he is giving Chicago Sky execs five days to respond to his complaints, or he will take legal action.
