A’ja Wilson led the Aces with 33 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 blocks, becoming the only player in WNBA history to record those numbers in a single game.

Las Vegas improved to 11-4 after the win, bouncing back from a 96-66 loss to the Dallas Wings that ended their six-game winning streak. The Aces also booked their Cup final berth after going 6-1 in Commissioner’s Cup play and holding the tiebreaker over Minnesota (6-1) following a 100-97 win over the Lynx.

Supporting Wilson, NaLyssa Smith scored 21 points, while Jackie Young added 20 points and 9 assists. Young also had a career-best five steals as Las Vegas finished with 18 steals, tied for the league-high in a game this season.

For Phoenix, Kahleah Copper led with 26 points, and Alyssa Thomas contributed 10 points and 11 assists. The Mercury fell to 4-11 and have now lost four straight games. Phoenix shot 60% from the field (18-of-30) and 7-of-10 from three in the first half, entering halftime with a 49-45 lead.

The game also served as a rematch of the 2025 WNBA Finals. The Mercury previously defeated the Aces 99-66 in the season opener. Las Vegas was without Chennedy Carter, who missed her second straight game due to illness.

The Aces will now face the New York Liberty in the Commissioner’s Cup championship on June 30 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with a $500,000 prize pool at stake. The Liberty advanced after an 86-64 win over the Washington Mystics and went 6-0 in Cup play to reach the final for the third time. The matchup will feature two teams that have combined for the past four WNBA championships.
