Anthony Edwards has officially tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Shannon Jackson.
Minnesota marriage records show the Timberwolves star and Jackson were married on July 16. His representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Marriage speculation intensified after Edwards was seen wearing a black ring at Fanatics Fest in New York City. The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2020, share a 2-year-old daughter, Aislynn.
The wedding follows Edwards’ highly publicized legal dispute with model Ayesha Howard, the mother of his daughter Aubri’ Summers.
Edwards filed a paternity and child support case in Georgia in 2024, while Howard later sought to move the case to California, claiming they “spent time together in various cities while he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and during his off-season. In January 2024, [she] discovered that [she] was pregnant with his child.”
Howard also submitted alleged text messages, including one in which she wrote, “I’m pregnant… wanted to tell you in person but you gave me no other choice. We probably should have kept it cordial but we’re here now.”
Edwards allegedly replied, “Ok lol. Get da abortion lol.”
In April 2025, Edwards agreed to give Howard temporary sole legal and physical custody of their daughter.
Howard later accused him of “intentionally” hiding assets to reduce child support, while Edwards responded that she had “orchestrated a coordinated media campaign” to “pressure” him into a financial settlement.
Throughout the legal battle, Jackson remained by his side.
