Barcelona appear to be closing in on another addition to their frontcourt ahead of the new season.
According to Diario SUR, the Catalan club is in advanced talks with Unicaja over the signing of Polish center Olek Balcerowski, with an agreement between the two sides believed to be nearing completion.
Barcelona are searching for reinforcements in the paint following the departure of Moses Wright, while Balcerowski’s homegrown status under Liga Endesa regulations makes him an even more valuable option for the club.
Unicaja are expected to receive a transfer fee for the 25-year-old, although it remains uncertain whether Barcelona will trigger the full buyout clause in his contract or negotiate a reduced amount.
Balcerowski signed a contract extension with the Málaga-based club earlier this year that runs until 2028.
However, after a mixed 2025-26 season, Unicaja have reportedly become willing to consider offers for the Polish international.
