Big news out of Purdue on this 4th of July weekend as the Purdue men’s basketball team nabs the point guard they’ve been after since his sophomore year. Thanks to some great recruiting by PJ Thompson, Purdue earned the pledge of Kevin Savage out of Atlanta. I talk about what we know about the point guard in this episode of the Boiler Alert podcast. One interesting thing I read, he’s left handed. That might give Purdue a bit of a different look than we’re used to.
Next, after the break I continue the look at the 2026-2027 men’s basketball roster with this episode focused on incoming big man Sinan Huan. Huan comes to Purdue from China with a stop off at Georgetown Prep in Maryland.
