After draining the game-winning triple to take down the Washington Mystics on Monday, Caitlin Clark stepped up once again for the Indiana Fever on Thursday, helping lead them to a 114-106 victory over the Chicago Sky.
While Indiana blew another huge lead, allowing the Sky to erase a 19-point deficit to force overtime, Clark was still sensational. She finished with 32 points on 8-of-18 shooting from the field, along with seven rebounds and 10 assists.

Clark also made the Sky pay for constantly fouling her by making all 15 of her free-throw attempts.
The 24-year-old guard made history in the process. According to the Fever, her performance allowed her to tie WNBA legend Tamika Catchings for the most 30-point double-doubles in franchise history with three each.

Catchings is widely considered the greatest player in Fever history, and she’s viewed as one of the best to ever play in the WNBA. That being said, it’s certainly a massive feat for Clark to match a record from the Hall of Famer.

Making things even better for Clark, she still has plenty of opportunities to break her tie with Catchings when it comes to 30-point double-doubles. Clark is only in her third year in the pros, and she has proven that she can score and assist in double digits in any given night.
Catchings is also the Fever’s career leader in points (7,380) and assists (1,488), among many other records. Interestingly, considering her incredible start to her career, Clark is well on pace to surpass the WNBA icon in both categories.
