Caitlin Clark is a WNBA All-Star Game starter, earning the third All-Star nod of her career.
But, it’s no thanks to her peers. Clark was involved in one of the biggest voting discrepancies of the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

While fans and the media voted Clark second and third on their respective ballots among guards, Clark earned just the 11th-most votes from her fellow players. In order to select the WNBA All-Star Game starters, fans accounted for 50% of the vote, while current players and a media panel accounted for 25% each.
Along with Clark, fellow Fever stars Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell were named WNBA All-Star Game starters as well.
Of WNBA All-Star Game starters, Boston had one of the other biggest discrepancies among the voting groups. Boston was No. 1 with the fans, No. 5 with the media but just eighth on her fellow players’ ballots.

Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum was also hurt by the players’ rankings, ranking No. 6 with fans, No. 5 with media, but just No. 12 with her fellow players.
