It is simply wild out there in college athletics, as lawsuits keep popping up everywhere for class of 2022 players to play a fifth season of college sports. Mark Mitchell is the biggest name for Kentucky fans to follow, but one very familiar name to the BBN will now be a potential opponent in the SEC.
After receiving a TRO, former New Mexico and UCLA point guard Donovan Dent has committed to Will Wade and the LSU Tigers.

Dent, one of the premier lead guards in college basketball, played a big role on a mediocre Bruins team last season, averaging 13.3 points, 7.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game.
Now, Will Wade will hope he is eligible, just so they have enough players to take the court, as they now have five players eligible for next season.
That leaves the biggest question surrounding all of this: will we see these guys play? If the NCAA gets its way, we won’t, but with the college basketball season starting earlier than ever this year, teams will want answers quickly.
Should be interesting to see how this goes, but a huge pickup for Wade and the Tigers.
