Brandon Moreno finally got his wish: a fight at Noche UFC.

The former UFC flyweight champion has been scheduled to fight The Ultimate Fighter 33 winner Joseph Morales at this year’s Noche UFC (UFC Fight Night 288) on Sept. 12 in Glendale, Ariz.

The event and matchup were announced on Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 281 event on Paramount+.

This will be the first time Moreno fights at a Noche UFC instalment. Launched to celebrate Mexican Independence in 2023, the UFC has hosted a total of three Noche UFC events. Moreno has expressed several times throughout the years of interest in fighting on the card, but his fight schedule hasn’t aligned with the Mexican holiday. Moreno is coming off back-to-back losses to Tatsuro Taira and Lone’er Kavanagh. Prior to that, he was on a two-fight win streak, with decision wins over Amir Albazi and Steve Erceg.

Morales, an American of Mexican descent, looks to score his first win of 2026. After winning TUF 33 and earning a contract with the UFC to compete in his second stint in the promotion, Morales submitted veteran Matt Schnell in November. Morales is currently on a five-fight winning streak.

A number of other pairings were confirmed for UFC Fight Night 288, and the latest lineup can be seen below:
