
Georgia women’s basketball released its 16-game conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, the first of many SEC slates for head coach Ayla Guzzardo.
The list consists of only one rotating opponent that will be played home and away: Florida. The Lady Bulldogs will face the Gators in their lone home-and-home matchup this season.

Otherwise all foes are the same as last year, though they may be in different places.
Coming to Stegeman Coliseum will be Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
In 2025-26, Georgia went 22-10 overall and 8-8 in the SEC with a 12-4 home record, 6-4 away record and 4-2 neutral site record.
Of the 8-8 conference record, the win column included Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, while the loss column included Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma.

Ole Miss was their home-and-home challenger last year, and they took the victory in Athens but the loss in Oxford, Miss.
Conference campaigns begin Thursday, Dec. 31. Dates and times, as well as broadcasts, will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the SEC schedule, several other early season events and opponents have been announced.
Georgia women’s basketball will go to the 21st annual Cancun Challenge’s Mayan Tournament during Thanksgiving weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. It will operate as a four-team, three-game round robin. Oregon is one of the other three programs involved, as two are still to be determined.

The Lady Bulldogs will also be playing in the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge against SMU in Dallas on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The game will be held at Moody Coliseum. The Lady Bulldogs have not met SMU since the 1999 NCAA Tournament, when they defeated the Mustangs in Athens in the second round, 68-55, before advancing to the Final Four.
