The PFL is in the nation’s capital city this week with the vacant welterweight title on the line at the top of the lineup.

PFL Washington takes place Saturday at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.

The card airs on ESPN2 and streams on ESPN+ at 5 p.m. ET for the prelims and 8 p.m. ET for the four-fight main card.

Opponent: Shamil Musaev (20-1-1)
Key wins: Logan Storley, Jason Jackson, Mukhamed Berkhamov
Misc: They’re not always perfect and not always pretty, but the one thing Jean does consistently is win. His victories over ex-Bellator champion Jackson and Storley back-to-back in 2025 mark his most accomplished opponents to date, and he answered both calls. Muasev is a step up from them, though.

Opponent: Thad Jean (11-0)
Key wins: Magomed Umalatov, Murad Ramazanov (twice), Logan Storley
Misc: Musaev won the PFL’s 2024 tournament at welterweight, but after all of 2025 off, he returned in February this year to a disappointing decision loss to Ramazan Kuramagomedov – the first setback of his career.

Opponent: Magomed Umalatov (18-1)
Key wins: Masayuki Kikuiri
Misc: The 28-year-old Xtreme Couture product brings a nine-fight winning streak into his second bout in the PFL. He took a majority decision from Kikuiri in Pittsburgh in March in his promotional debut.

Opponent: Ernesto Rodriguez (11-1)
Key wins: Anthony Ivy, Neiman Gracie, Brennan Ward, Andrey Koreshkov
Misc: Umalatov got to the cusp of PFL greatness in 2024, but lost to Musaev in the tournament final. He bounced back in 2025 against Ivy, but had to pull out of his follow-up, making this his first fight in 13 months.
