The Hoosiers are looking to take the next step in the Big Ten this fall, and Markus Burton figures to be a huge part of the equation.
The program shared some good news with CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, as Indiana head coach Darian DeVries said that the transfer point guard has been fully cleared for all basketball activities.

Burton comes to Bloomington by way of Notre Dame, where he only played in 10 games last season as a junior before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.
He was a standout player for the Fighting Irish, leading the ACC in scoring as a sophomore with just over 21 points per game.
The Hoosiers hope to have the ball in Burton’s hands with a lead in close games, as the guard has shot nearly 85% from the line throughout his college career.
