Isaiah Foskey signed with the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad in September last season. He was later elevated to the 53-man roster in late November. The former Notre Dame defender flashed in limited action.

Contract Status
Foskey will earn just over $1.1 million if he makes the Bengals 53-man roster during the 2026 season. After the season, he would be a restricted free agent.
Overview
Isaiah Foskey was a highly regarded recruit coming out of high school. He played in the 2019 All-American Bowl before taking his talents to Notre Dame. He finished his career at Notre Dame, accumulating 122 tackles, 26.5 sacks, and 7 forced fumbles.
Foskey was selected with the 40th overall selection in the 2nd round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. After two seasons with minimal production, Foskey was ultimately waived by the Saints in August of 2025 during final roster cuts.

He appeared in 8 games with the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2025 season. He recorded just 4 total tackles on the season, but did flash a couple of times late in the season playing against Arizona.
Outlook for 2026
As of right now, it is difficult to see the initial path to making the Bengals 53-man roster. However, he will have an opportunity to push Cedric Johnson for one of the final spots on the defensive line. Even if he does not make the 53-man roster, I would imagine that Al Golden would love to keep him around on the practice squad to start the season.
Having played for Al Golden at Notre Dame, Foskey has a decent amount of experience playing in his defense. That could be one reason that he is a surprise candidate to end up finding his way on the back end of the roster. His size and power profile are his calling cards on the field. He will be a fun player to watch during the preseason.
