Well, it looks like UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit is doubling down on the comment that got him in hot water.
Hokit, who’s made a recent splash in the MMA world through his skits and trash talk, continued his controversial act in his latest win in the octagon. After defeating Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House on June 14, Hokit took his post-fight inteview mic time with Joe Rogan to take a diss at former First Lady Michelle Obama:

“Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right America?”
Hokit’s comment was not taken well by many. He was heavily criticized in the media, and even UFC commentator Daniel Cormier showed his disapproval in a recent video posted on his YouTube channel.
“The comments that he made in the octagon were irresponsible; it was nasty, it was horrible, and it was unnecessary.”
Hokit took to X to reply to Cormier, and seemingly show no regret for his diss towards Obama.
“I’ve been nothing but nice to this fat cow pig,” Hokit wrote in response to Cormier. “I’m not here for unity, in reality there will never be unity… I come to divide people’s faces… if you don’t like it then come do something about it.”
The UFC, which rarely takes any disiplinary action for fighter comments, had a response on the matter from its CEO, Dana White. As expected, White distanced himself from Hokit’s comments, but didn’t give any insight into potential disiplinary action to its athlete.

“That was disgusting,” White said Saturday after UFC Fight Night 279. “There’s always going to be people that say things that most of us don’t agree with. The time, the place, just f*cking … I’ve said many times: I voted for Obama the first time. I didn’t vote for him the second time. Then when I was at the inaguration, he was sitting in front of me, and I saw all this stuff on the internet, ‘Oh, Dana is dogging Obama.’ Obama is the only one that turned around to me, couldn’t have been a nicer guy, and said, ‘Congratulations for all of your success and everything you’ve done.’ I said, ‘Thank you Mr. President.’ … I respect all presidents, present and past. Not everyone does, and you have to listen to stupid sh*t like that sometimes, unfortunately, because I also believe in free speech.”
