A flyweight title bout headlines the UFC 331 fight card on Sept. 19 in Los Angeles, California.
Flyweight champion Joshua Van and former titleholder Alexandre Pantoja rematch in the featured fight at Crypto.com Arena. The fight promotion revealed the full UFC 331 fight card via social media on Wednesday.
Van (17-2) won the flyweight championship by defeating Pantoja at UFC 323 last December after Pantoja suffered an arm injury just 26 seconds into the fight. He successfully defended the belt at UFC 328 in May, defeating Tatsuro Taira by TKO. He’ll bring with him a seven-fight winning streak to the octagon.

Pantoja (30-6) has been on the sidelines since losing to Van and recovering. Healed and back to form, Pantoja wants the belt back. Before the unfortunate injury loss, Pantoja was riding an eight-fight winning steak and hadn’t felt defeat in five years.
The event will mark the promotion’s sixth visit to Los Angeles but the first in eight years. The last time the octagon was in L.A. was for UFC 227 in August 2018.
