Kentucky Basketball is officially coming together in Lexington, as players have begun moving into the Wildcat Coal Lodge, with the entire roster expected to be on campus by this weekend.
The first to arrive was class of 2026 4-star point guard Mason Williams, which makes sense given that his father, Mo Williams, is an assistant coach for Kentucky and a former NBA veteran who played alongside LeBron James.

Williams said on Friday while moving in:
“What’s up, BBN. Mason Williams here, just got moved in. Excited to get to work. One thing you all should know about me is I am the hardest worker, and I am ready to meet the guys and get on the floor and practice.”
The second arrival was Furman transfer guard Alex Wilkins, who drew heavy interest from multiple programs after his standout NCAA Tournament performance against UConn.
Wilkins said upon arrival:
“What’s up, y’all. Alex Wilkins here, just got moved in. Excited to get to work. One thing about me, I am here to win games, and I am excited to get the season going.”
Lexington native Reece Potter was the third to move in, returning home after two seasons at Miami (OH) and a redshirt year at Kentucky.
Star big man Malachi Moreno is also back on campus, entering year two in Lexington with expectations of becoming one of the most dominant frontcourt players in college basketball.

Moreno said, “Year 2, baby. Let’s go!”
Another key addition is Winchester native Jerone Morton, who began his college career at Morehead State before transferring to Washington State and eventually landing at Kentucky.
Morton said:
“What’s good, BBN? Jerone Morton here. Glad to be here on campus, ready to meet everybody, ready to get practice going. One fun fact about me is that this is a dream come true for me, and I am from the city of Lexington. So let’s get this thing going. Let’s do it.”
Kentucky will officially begin its summer practice schedule on June 15 as the roster continues to take shape in Lexington.
