Kentucky Football has landed a quarterback commitment.
Callum Wither, from Ontario, Canada, will join the Wildcats this fall, according to Justin Dunk of 3 Down Nation.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback has had an unconventional path in college football. Wither joined the Ohio Bobcats in 2022, but never saw the field. After three seasons, Wither transferred to Wilfrid University in Ontario, where he performed well, completing 72.7% of his passes while throwing for 2,472 yards with 26 touchdowns vs. four interceptions.

Wither initially committed to play at Maryland back in the spring, but backed off that commitment and now will instead make his way to Lexington, where he’s expected to add depth to the quarterback room.
A late addition like this is always interesting, but it seems like Will Stein and Co. want to ensure plenty of depth at the quarterback position, and while he lacks Division I game experience, Wither is a guy who has been around the game for a while and could provide value there as well with experience in multiple systems.
