Lane Kiffin and Eric Wolford worked hard to earn the commitment of fast-rising 3-star offensive tackle Amaziah Siale.
Siale is from Hawaii but plays his high school football at Mission Viejo High School in California. LSU was able to flip him from Cal and convince him to cancel a planned visit to Texas.

Siale committed to Cal at the beginning of the month but still intended to take camp visits. Following his camp appearance at LSU last week, he earned a scholarship offer from offensive line coach Eric Wolford and immediately scheduled an official visit for this past weekend.
The visit went so well that the 6’6″, 360-pound offensive tackle decided to commit to the Tigers on Sunday afternoon. LSU was able to beat out Texas, which had also offered Siale following his camp visit earlier this month.
The relationship Siale built with Coach Wolford helped fuel this recruitment. Greg Biggins of Rivals quoted Siale as saying, “This place (LSU) is home.” He also added, “I’m done with trips. I’m shutting it down. I’m locked in with LSU.”
This is a massive commitment for the Tigers—both literally and metaphorically. LSU needed to add an offensive tackle to the class, and they landed one of the hottest prospects currently available.

This is one of those situations where you should not focus on a prospect’s ranking but instead pay attention to the offer list. Siale is a young man with tremendous size, long arms, big hands, and a well-developed frame. His offer sheet included LSU, Cal, Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and SMU.
This becomes the first offensive line commitment in LSU’s 2027 class, and based on current trends, it likely won’t be the last. The Tigers are favored to land another offensive line commitment within the next 24 hours.
The Lane Train is moving at full steam. Share your thoughts on Siale’s commitment and let us know who you would like to see LSU bring in next in the comments below.
