MSU football listed as finalist for in-state wide receiver prospect

Michigan State football is listed as a finalist for an in-state wide receiver prospect.

Chad Willis of Orchard Lake, Mich. had released his top four schools list, with the Spartans making the cut. According to a post from Willis, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Pitt and Minnesota are his four finalists.

Willis is a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 87 in 247Sports’ system. He ranks as the No. 92 wide receiver and No. 15 player from Michigan in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2027 class.

Michigan State is one of nearly 30 schools to extend an offer to Willis, according to 247Sports. He has not yet announced any upcoming official visits, but I would assume he’ll be visiting Michigan State in the next month or two.
