Michigan State football has extended an offer to an Ohio defensive lineman prospect in the 2027 class.
Carter Napier of Springboro, Ohio announced on Tuesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He revealed his offer from Michigan State by posting on his social media X account. The offer from Michigan State came after he took an unofficial visit to the school this week.

Napier is listed as a three-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 86 in 247Sports’ system. He ranks as the No. 107 defensive lineman and No. 39 player from Ohio in the 2027 class.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to extend an offer to Napier, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Pittsburgh, Iowa, Iowa State, West Virginia, Air Force, Army, Miami (OH) and UConn.
The Spartans are one of two schools that also have reported official visits lined up with Napier. He will visit Michigan State on June 5, and the week prior to that he’ll visit Pittsburgh.
