New Hampshire returns to Chase for the 2027 NASCAR season

by

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is returning to the Chase. On Thursday, New Hampshire announced its race weekend for 2027, and it will be a part of the Chase now. The track will replace Bristol Motor Speedway, which wanted to move to August for easier accommodations with college football.

In 2027, New Hampshire will host the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series on September 25 and 26. It is unclear which race date this will be in the Chase, as NASCAR hasn’t revealed the official schedule for the 2027 season. Instead, tracks have been releasing dates one at a time this year.

Overall, this is a brilliant move for NASCAR and New Hampshire. The track used to be a part of the Chase, so returning to the 10-race sprint is ideal. For now, New Hampshire will focus one its one race date in a few weeks; however, there will be so much excitement in the air for the Chase in 2027.
