The Texans placed wide receiver Jayden Higgins on injured reserve Friday, the team announced.
Higgins will miss his second season with a torn ACL.
He injured his knee in a joint practice with the Raiders on Tuesday. The 2025 second-round pick landed awkwardly in the end zone during an 11-on-11 red zone drill.

Higgins started 10 games and had 525 receiving yards and six touchdowns during his rookie season.
He was expected to start opposite Nico Collins.
Xavier Hutchinson, Tank Dell and Jaylin Noel now will be more important than ever to the Texans’ offense this season. Dell and Noel continue to work their way back from injuries.
