Duke and Amazon Prime announced a three-game broadcasting deal for the 2026-27 men’s college basketball season.
All three games will air exclusively on Amazon Prime.
“The series of exclusive top-tier matchups is slated to tip off in Las Vegas during the week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2026, when Duke faces the Connecticut Huskies in T-Mobile Arena. The action continues Monday, Dec. 21, at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, where Duke will take on the Michigan Wolverines. Prime Video’s inaugural college basketball showcase culminates in early 2027 on Saturday, Feb. 20, with the Blue Devils squaring off against the Gonzaga Bulldogs in Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. All games will be produced by Prime Video, with exact times and other coverage details to be announced later,” Duke announced.

The Blue Devils are excited.
“In addition to our outstanding partnership with ESPN, we are excited to work with Prime Video on this groundbreaking initiative,” said Nina King, Vice President and King-Compton Families Director of Athletics, Duke. “As Prime Video’s first college sports partner, this collaboration not only expands the global reach of Duke Men’s Basketball, but also creates meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes in a way that reflects innovation and excellence.”
But the Big Ten is angered.

According to a Friday night report from Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports, the Big Ten is objecting to Duke’s broadcasting deal.
The Big Ten doesn’t think that Duke and the ACC should own the rights to Michigan’s Dec. 21 game against the Blue Devils in New York.
Big Ten angered by Duke’s deal
The Big Ten thinks that it owns teh rights to the game, not Duke and the ACC.
“The Big Ten has notified the ACC and ESPN that it owns the rights of the announced neutral-site basketball game between Duke and Michigan next season from Madison Square Garden, scheduled for streaming on Amazon,” Yahoo! Sports reported.

“Duke collaborated with the ACC and television partner ESPN to strike the first-of-its-kind arrangement, agreeing to future scheduling commitments in exchange for the three games: against Michigan on Dec. 21 in New York, UConn on Nov. 25 in Las Vegas and Gonzaga on Feb. 20 in Detroit.
“However, there’s a disagreement on which broadcaster owns one of those matchups.”
Officials from the Big Ten and ACC have declined to comment publicly. However, the case could play out in court.
