Song Yadong’s last appearance in the octagon was an impressive one.
Back in May, Song secured a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus with a tight guillotine on former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo. It was a special night for Song as he headlined in his home country of China and was able to avoid losing two fights in a row – something he’s never done in his career.

Song (23-9-1 MMA, 12-4-1 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 286 (Paramount+) in Shanghai, China. He takes on former title challenger and current top contender Umar Nurmagomedov (20-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) in a five-round contest.
