Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions may have just landed another stiff jab to the mouth of its biggest competition.
With the UFC under fire for an increasing use of AI-generated video content for promotional pieces, MVP and Netflix released a minute-long spot for its upcoming first MMA card. And Paul was quick to point out that the commercial doesn’t include video generated through AI – “100% real,” Paul posted.

Paul will enter the MMA space with MVP’s first event May 16 on Netflix. It’s headlined by former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey and MMA pioneer Gina Carano in a featherweight superfight most thought was long past possible to put together.
But MVP also managed to snatch up former UFC star Nate Diaz to fight ex-UFC fighter Mike Perry, who has moved on to prominence in the BKFC. It also landed Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, and ex-UFC heavyweight champ Junior Dos Santos.
The UFC long has been the leader in the MMA space, and it hasn’t gotten much push-back from promotions a tier below them in the past, like the PFL and Bellator. MVP’s MMA offering could be a significant event when all is said and done.
