Washington has been busy offering a group of NFL Academy Asia-Pacific players who have been touring the United States this spring to get in front of college coaches despite their lack of true football experience.
2029 Samoan offensive and defensive lineman Tavite Nasio picked up an offer from Washington on Thursday. Nasio tagged Huskies offensive line coaches Michael Switzer and Michael Brewster in the post announcing the offer, suggesting that he’d start on the offensive side of the ball on Montlake.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds by the NFL Academy website, Nasio also reports 10-inch hands, 34-inch arms, and an 81-inch wingspan at only 14 years old on his social media accounts.

Nasio, 2028 tight end Tarquin Schwalger, and four other prospects from the Asia-Pacific satellite campus of NFL Academy also visited Washington on Sunday, per Schwalger’s social media.
2028 offensive lineman Teauariki Siaoloa, who stands 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds out of American Samoa, picked up an offer from the Huskies on Wednesday as well. 6-foot-4 British-Australian wide receiver/tight end Kayden Greene also reported an offer from Washington on Wednesday.
Greene and 2029 offensive lineman Talby Smith, from New South Wales, listed Washington as schools standing out to them early in their recruitments when speaking with Rivals recruiting insider Adam Gorney on Saturday.

The Asia-Pacific NFL Academy players primarily hold offers from West Coast schools, including Cal – where a group of them visited Friday before their stop in Seattle – and UCLA. ACC schools have also showed interest earlier this month after the group participated in a showcase at IMG Academy in Florida early this month.
27 alumni of the NFL Academy played NCAA football in 2025-26, per the academy’s website. All of those came from the London-based campus that serves the Europe-Africa program, with New Zealand native Nikau Hepi, an offensive lineman, heading to Florida State this year as the first graduate of the Asia-Pacific program.
But with Washington’s strong ties to the Polynesian and Pacific Islander community, it should come as no surprise that there’s mutual interest between the Huskies and a number of the players in the NFL Academy program.
