LSU football begins its first spring practice under Lane Kiffin in one week. On March 24, the 2026 Tigers will hit the practice field for the first time. It will our first look at what LSU’s slew of new transfers and freshmen look like.

Typically, the conclusion of spring practice brings with it a spring game. An intrasquad scrimmage for the fans to get a glimpse of what’s to come that fall. It’s one of the few times college football fans get a taste of real action in the offseason.

But so far, LSU has yet to announce spring game plans. Spring games have shifted across the sport in recent years, with several programs opting to host an open practice or fan event rather than a traditional scrimmage. Kiffin was one of the first to buck tradition at Ole Miss, so it’s unlikely he’d suddenly host a traditional spring game at LSU.

Still, Kiffin’s Ole Miss program usually did something for the fans at the end of spring. Don’t be surprised if something does pop up on the calendar, but for now, LSU does not have a spring game scheduled.
