Wisconsin basketball landed its first transfer commitment of the 2026 offseason on Thursday: George Mason guard Trey Autry.
Autry brings 100 games of college experience to the program. The sharp-shooting guard started 34 games as a junior in 2025-26, averaging 28.7 minutes, 11 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.8 blocks per game. He also shot 43.5% from the floor and 38.5% from 3.

The new Badger projects to fill the bench scoring role held by Braeden Carrington in 2025-26. However, it’s still early in the transfer cycle, and Autry could find himself in a starting role by the time the season begins.
As we project forward, here is an updated look at the Badgers’ starting lineup and bench rotation, with a lot still subject to change as the transfer cycle continues.
