WNBA star Sophie Cunningham made a special announcement this weekend.
The Indiana Fever guard signed a one-year, $665,000 contract on Sunday. She celebrated in a special way.
Cunningham announced that she got baptized in an adult ceremony.

“I got baptized when I was little but I was feeling a tug on my heart to do it on my terms as an adult! Such a fun, amazing day. Thank you Jesus,” she wrote.
Cunningham forms an impressive guards trio on the Fever, along with former No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull.
The Indiana Fever guard and her teammates are called “Tres Leches,” which translates from Spanish to “three milks. The nickname refers to a popular Latin American sponge cake.

“We saw it on Twitter at some point, and people ran with it,” Hull previously told Fox News Digital of the nickname. “It was funny.”
