Caitlin Clark‘s strong second half of the season has seen her shoot up the rankings, but can she catch up to the top two? That’s what the next weeks will tell us — with the playoff field practically set, seeding will come into play as voters try to determine the league’s most valuable player.

WNBA MVP Ladder

Honorable mentions: Paige Bueckers, Kelsey Mitchell, Breanna Stewart

The Dallas Wings‘ recent slide has hurt Bueckers’ candidacy, but she continues to have a strong individual season (20.5 points, 5.8 assists on 51/38/87 splits) and will guide the Wings to the playoffs anyway. Bueckers surely will win MVP in the near future.

Mitchell, long one of the WNBA’s most dangerous scorers, is enjoying the best season of her career. She is second in the league in scoring at 24.2 points per game, and through play Sunday, she has scored at least 20 points in 19 consecutive games — one off from the all-time league record.
