WNBA Season Win Totals 2026: Best Over/Under Bets for All 15 Teams

It seems like we’re saying it every spring: This is the most highly anticipated WNBA season ever.

And it’s true. Again.

Not only is the league loaded with top talents and marquee superstars pushing women’s hoops to uncharted heights, but we’ve got two new teams with the Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire joining the fray.

The 2026 WNBA season tips off May 8, and ahead of Friday’s openers, I size up the win total markets for all 15 clubs and give my best WNBA picks and predictions.

WNBA win total predictions for every team

New York Liberty season win total: 32.5

The New York Liberty kept their core intact with Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, Sabrina Ionescu, Marine Johannes, and Betnijah Laney-Hamilton all back in the Big Apple. They boosted their depth with quality additions in Satou Sabally and Rebecca Allen, and underwent a remodel under new head coach Chris DiMarco.

Even with the East posing less pushback – considering the Liberty play nine games against the likes of Connecticut, Washington, and Toronto – I’m not rushing to take them Over 32.5 wins. There will be growing pains in this new system, and many of those stars have been injury-prone (Ionescu is already out two weeks), which will shake up rotations.

Pick: Under 32.5 -105 (-115 at bet365)

Las Vegas Aces season win total: 29.5

Taking the Under isn’t a shot at the defending WNBA champs by any means. The Las Vegas Aces are more than capable of capturing 30 wins in this expanded schedule. Betting the Under, however, is respecting how coach Becky Hammon goes about her business in the regular season.

We saw Las Vegas snap out of a ho-hum 2025 late in the summer, just in time for another title run. With three championships in the past four years, the only thing that matters to the Aces now is legacy. Hammon and A’Ja Wilson don’t need more regular-season achievements, making the focus postseason performance.

Pick: Under 29.5 (+100 at bet365)

Indiana Fever season win total: 29.5

I was all in on the Indiana Fever last year, but Caitlin Clark’s lingering injuries burned those futures to the ground. But in that lost season, the Fever’s other stars stepped up and took the team to the semifinals. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are proven superstars. The Fever enter Year 2 under Stephanie White with big expectations, and solid signings in Monique Billings and Myisha Hines-Allen add interior toughness.

I mentioned the soft sked in the East, which should gift-wrap at least six wins when facing Toronto, Washington, and Connecticut. Also working in the Fever’s favor are three of their first four games with Atlanta coming before July. The Dream will be learning to live with Angel Reese in the rotation in those opening weeks.

Pick: Over 29.5 (-105 at bet365)

Atlanta Dream season win total: 29.5

And speaking of Reese and the Atlanta Dream, I feel their win total is puffed up. Expectations are very high, especially after adding Angel. Karl Smesko’s first season in the ATL was a huge success, as the Dream found their way in his aggressive system and caught fire late in the summer. Atlanta lost only thrice in its final 18 games.

That said, the Dream were helped along by a home-friendly stretch that had seven of the final nine games inside Gateway Center Arena and wrapped with a six-game win streak versus bottom-feeders L.A. (2x), Connecticut (3x), and Dallas. The 2026 schedule closes with six of 10 on the road, and a double-header in New York could be the decider for this win total.

Pick: Under 29.5 (+100 at bet365)

Minnesota Lynx season win total: 27.5

The Minnesota Lynx’s win total takes a hit with Napheesa Collier sidelined until June. And even then, the team is likely to take it easy with her surgically repaired ankles. Minnesota will lean on veterans Kayla McBride, Courtney Williams, and Natasha Howard for offense, especially after a mass exodus of key role players this offseason.

On top of missing Collier for the first quarter of the season, the Lynx just look thin on talent and will count on youngsters like Dorka Juhász and Olivia Miles to grow up fast. Toss in the challenge of playing in the West, and I see a step back for the Lynx.

Pick: Under 27.5 (-130 at bet365)

Los Angeles Sparks season win total: 25.5

On paper, the Los Angeles Sparks’ rotation is as strong as any team in the Dub. Nneka Ogwumike’s homecoming and a healthy Cameron Brink complement a high-powered perimeter of Kelsey Plum, Ariel Atkins, and the perpetually underrated Dearica Hamby.

I was high on L.A. last year when the win total was 20.5 O/U, and we just got Over that mark. I continue to have positive expectations in Year 2 under Lynne Roberts, but scoring depth is a concern, especially after finishing dead last in bench points last year.

Pick: Over 25.5 (-110 at bet365)

Phoenix Mercury season win total: 23.5

The Phoenix Mercury may not be built for the 44-game WNBA world we’re living in. They have an aging lineup with veterans Kahleah Copper and Alyssa Thomas, along with DeWanna Bonner and Sami Whitcomb leading the charge.

That group has passed the cross-section of “experience meets ability.” I don’t know if that rotation can last into the dog days of summer, especially with Satou Sabally chasing rings in New York now.

Pick: Under 23.5 (-105 at bet365)

Golden State Valkyries season win total: 22.5

Last year’s expansion team was 2025’s biggest surprise. The Golden State Valkyries put together a working-class roster, leaning on “Three and D” as well as a reliable bench to pick up 23 wins and a playoff appearance.

The Valks return standouts Veronica Burton, Tiffany Hayes, and Kayla Thornton, as well as adding a perfect fit for their philosophy in Gabby Williams. Despite some stunning player decisions this spring, I’ll give reigning Coach of the Year Natalie Nakase the benefit of the doubt in 2026.

Pick: Over 22.5 (+100 at bet365)

Dallas Wings season win total: 21.5

The Dallas Wings could be the most fun team in the WNBA this season. New head coach Jose Fernandez is preaching pace and has a backcourt packed with punch. Arike Ogunbowale, Paige Bueckers, and No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd can turn games into track meets.

But don’t be blinded by all those potential points. The Wings not only have a new system but plenty of new faces who will take time to find their way. Defense is still a major concern for Dallas, and a 12-win jump from 10 victories in 2025 seems like a stretch.

Pick: Under 21.5 (-105 at bet365)

Chicago Sky season win total: 18.5

The Chicago Sky might want to offer one of those “jersey swap” promos, considering the upheaval on this roster. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you consider how bad Chicago was in 2025.

The Reese trade has Chicago going all in on Kamilla Cardoso, and the additions of Rickea Jackson, Skylar Diggins, DiJonai Carrington, Jacy Sheldon, and Natasha Cloud give the Sky a ton of depth on the perimeter. With a sub-20 win total, you have some wiggle room for this group to gel in the first couple of months.

Pick: Over 18.5 (-110 at bet365)

Washington Mystics season win total: 16.5

The Washington Mystics looked like they would go Over their win total of 18.5 last season, sitting 16-18 with 10 games remaining on the schedule. They wouldn’t win again. That has the 2026 total down two victories for a very young Washington squad.

This is Year 2 for head coach Sydney Johnson, who has budding stars in Sonia Citron and Kiki Irafen. Beyond that, always-injured Shakira Austin, first-rounder Lauren Betts, and the promise of 2025 first-rounder Georgia Amoore are the highlights in DC. Seventeen wins seems like a lot.

Pick: Under 16.5 (+105 at bet365)

Toronto Tempo season win total: 15.5

The Valkyries raised the bar for expansion teams, and the Toronto Tempo looks like the stronger of the two new additions. The Tempo scored a solid base of ballers in Marina Mabrey, Brittney Sykes, Julie Allemand, Temi Fagbenle, and Nyara Sabally.

Toronto has a softer opening schedule, which helps as this roster comes together for veteran coach Sandy Brondello. The Tempo play just three teams with a win total north of 20 in the first 13 games. That’s a good head start on the Over.

Pick: Over 15.5 (-130 at bet365)

Seattle Storm season win total: 14.5

The Seattle Storm underwent the most severe facelift, losing their top five scorers from 2025 as well as swapping out coaches for Sonia Raman. On top of that, the remaining standout Ezi Magbegor will miss the start of the season with a foot injury.

There are some exciting youngsters in the Pacific Northwest, with Dominique Malonga, Awa Fam, and Flau’jae Johnson setting up for the future. But this roster rounds out with some ho-hum veterans, and I don’t see Seattle up for the test in the West.

Pick: Under 14.5 (+100 at bet365)

Connecticut Sun season win total: 11.5

The Connecticut Sun went well below their win total of 16.5 O/U last year, finishing with just 11 victories. This year’s squad could be even worse, especially with the franchise looking ahead to a move to Houston in 2027.

I have a tough time trusting Connecticut, especially with 12 of the final 20 games (and six of the last 10) on the road. With JuJu Watkins waiting for the worst team in the 2027 draft, I’m banking on the future Comets to make a business decision and tank in 2026.

Pick: Under 11.5 (-130 at bet365)

Portland Fire season win total: 9.5

The Portland Fire didn’t come out of the expansion draft as clean as Toronto, with a lack of scoring punch. However, GM Vanja Cernivec was the architect of Golden State’s first season, and head coach Alex Sarama runs a high-octane offense that pushes pace.

Hell, even the Wings, Sky, and Sun got to 10 wins in 2025 — and those teams were bad. Getting 10 victories from Portland is going to be a nasty sweat in September, with seven of the final 11 games on the road.

Pick: Over 9.5 wins (-115 at bet365)
