2027 forward Qandace Samuels named Tennessee in her top 10 schools, along with Alabama, LSU, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Texas, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-2 prospect is from Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland.

She is a five-star prospect in 247Sports Composite rankings and is ranked as the No. 12 overall player, No. 4 small forward and No. 2 prospect in Maryland.
The Lady Vols offered Samuels a scholarship on Feb. 18. She unofficially visited Rutgers on June 15, SMU on Oct. 5, 2024 and Maryland on Nov. 8, 2023.
Samuels has SEC scholarship offers from Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, LSU, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.
Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2027 basketball recruiting class.
For the 2026–27 academic year, the NCAA Division I women’s basketball signing dates are Nov. 11-18 for the early signing period and April 14, 2027 for a regular period with a final date varying based on institutional policy.
