4-star LiMarcus Jones, of Brentwood Academy, commits to Deion Sanders, Colorado football

Brentwood Academy junior offensive tackle Li’Marcus Jones committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado football he announced on social media on May 24.

Jones is a four-star transfer from Jackson Callaway (Mississippi) who will be a senior at Brentwood Academy for the 2026 TSSAA football season. He’s a 6-foot-6, 300-pound lineman whose offers included Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Oregon and Georgia.

He is the No. 13 player from the 2027 class in Tennessee and No. 33 offensive tackle nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Jones is one of several high-profile Brentwood Academy transfers making noise on the recruiting trail. He narrowed his list of schools to three, including Colorado, Purdue and Mississippi State.

Judah Lancaster, a three-star junior tight end who was previously at IMG Academy in Florida, committed to South Carolina on May 1. Braylen Bedford, a sophomore athlete previously at Vardaman (Mississippi), is also sorting through a handful of Power 4 offers.
