Four-star edge rusher recruit JaBarrius Garror will announce his commitment on June 12, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. The talented edge rusher is a major target for the Georgia Bulldogs, who are in his top schools.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, Garror is an elite athlete that could shine on Georgia’s defense in 2027. The rising star will choose among his top schools list of Georgia, Texas, Auburn and Florida State. Garror’s commitment would prove to be a massive victory for the Bulldogs’ recruitment trail moving forward. Garror has been a star at the high school level at Vigor in Alabama, and the recruit appears to be closing in on a final decision in regard to his commitment later this week.

Garror is ranked as the No. 12 edge rusher and the No. 107 player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is listed as the fourth-best recruit in Alabama, and Garror would be a massive commitment for Georgia football if the big man decides to play in Athens next season. Georgia has remained as one of Garror’s top landing spots since the early stages of his recruitment process, and the Dawgs remain in the mix prior to announcing his final decision on Friday, June 12.
Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class continues to improve on a weekly basis. Four-star offensive tackle Nate Carson recently received a prediction to commit to Georgia, while five-star receiver Eric McFarland has added the Bulldogs to his top schools.
