Ahead of Minnesota’s matchup against the Connecticut Sun at Target Center, the Lynx shared a video of Juhász arriving at the arena with a fitting caption: “DORKA IN THE BUILDING.”
The veteran forward’s game-day outfit quickly caught fans’ attention. Juhász arrived wearing a sleek all-black ensemble featuring an open-front crop top and matching pants, a look that highlighted the work she put in during her lengthy recovery while also showcasing her signature confidence and style.
But while the outfit generated plenty of buzz, the biggest story was that Juhász was finally back in uniform.
Dorka Juhász returns after missing start of 2026 season
Monday marked Juhász’s 2026 season debut after she missed the opening months of the WNBA season with a right foot injury.
Her return has been highly anticipated for a Minnesota team that has thrived despite missing one of its most versatile frontcourt players. The 26-year-old also entered this season after taking all of 2025 away from the WNBA to recover from years of playing basketball year-round, giving her an opportunity to recharge before returning to Minnesota.

That time away didn’t slow her development. Instead, Juhász elevated her game overseas, earning EuroLeague Women MVP honors with Galatasaray during the 2025-26 season. She became the youngest player ever to receive the award, further establishing herself as one of the top international players in women’s basketball.
Former UConn star has become valuable Lynx contributor
Selected 16th overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft, Juhász wasted little time making an impact. The former Ohio State and UConn standout earned WNBA All-Rookie Team honors during her first season after averaging 6.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists while becoming one of the league’s most dependable young forwards.
She followed with another productive campaign in 2024, averaging 4.8 points and 3.8 rebounds while helping Minnesota make a deep playoff run. Her versatility has become one of her biggest strengths. At 6-foot-5, Juhász can rebound, defend multiple positions, facilitate offense from the high post and stretch the floor when needed, giving head coach Cheryl Reeve another valuable option in the frontcourt.

Lynx gain another weapon for championship push
Minnesota entered Monday’s game with the WNBA’s best record at 15-5 despite playing the first half of the season without Juhász. Adding a player with her size, basketball IQ and international experience only strengthens a roster that already features MVP candidate Napheesa Collier, veteran Natasha Howard and one of the league’s deepest rotations.
Before tipoff, Juhász’s stylish arrival gave fans another reason to celebrate. Once the game began, however, the focus shifted to what matters most for Minnesota: welcoming back an All-Rookie forward who could become an important piece of the Lynx’s pursuit of another WNBA championship during the second half of the season.
