The Texas A&M Aggies scored an impressive recruiting win over the weekend, as USA TODAY’s NorthJersey.com reports they received a commitment from four-star linebacker Mikahi Allen.
The class of 2027 defender plays his high school football at Don Bosco and posted 65 tackles and eight sacks as a junior last season.

Texas, Florida State and South Carolina were among Allen’s finalists, but he felt most comfortable with Texas A&M.
“It just felt like home,” Allen said on CBS Sports College Football’s YouTube channel. “You know when you come back from traveling from out of state and you come back home and you have that home feeling. That’s what I felt like.”
Allen also said that he will look to arrive at Texas A&M for the spring semester in the lead up to hitting the gridiron for the Aggies in the fall of 2027.
