After hosting Furman, Tennessee will travel to Georgia Tech on Sept. 12 and host Kennesaw State on Sept. 19 before kicking off SEC play.

Tennessee will face Texas on Sept. 26 in Week 4 to open its league slate. The Vols will then host Auburn at Neyland Stadium in Week 5.

Tennessee has a 65.3% chance to defeat Auburn on Oct. 3, according to ESPN Analytics’ Matchup Predictor.

2026 will mark the first season for the Tigers under head coach Alex Golesh. He served as the Vols’ offensive coordinator and tight ends coach from 2021-22.

“I am humbled and grateful to have been named the head football coach at Auburn University seven months ago, and it has been an incredible journey up until this point,” Golesh said at SEC media days.
