Reinier de Ridder isn’t too fond of Jiri Prochazka.
De Ridder (21-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC), a former two-division ONE champion, moved back up to light heavyweight after back-to-back losses to Brendan Allen and Caio Borralho at 185 pounds.

When asked who the best light heavyweight in the UFC is, de Ridder did not mince his words towards former champion Prochazka (32-6-1 MMA, 6-3 UFC).
“Nah, it’s definitely not Jiri,” de Ridder told Full Mount MMA. “It’s (Magomed) Ankalaev for the most skilled. I think in a fight, Ankalaev vs. (champion Carlos Ulberg), I think Ankalaev is going to win. Jiri rubs me the wrong way with the ninja sh*t. It’s too much, dude. It feels so fake. Nah, that’s not my guy.”
De Ridder takes on Roman Dolidze (15-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 285 (Paramount+) on Aug. 22 at Golden 1 Center. Meanwhile, Prochazka fell short once again in reclaiming his light heavyweight title when he was knocked out by Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 in April.
