Eagles Training Camp Practice Notes: Riq Woolen intercepts Jalen Hurts twice at The Linc

by

Tonight marked the sixteenth Philadelphia Eagles training camp practice ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Here’s what I observed from the team’s one and only public session of the summer at Lincoln Financial Field!

EAGLES PRACTICE NOTES

  • EAGLES INJURY REPORT:

    • IN-PRACTICE INJURIES:

      • OT Lane Johnson seemed to get banged up early in practice. He went to the sideline and talked to a trainer. He remained on the sideline for the rest of practice with a helmet in his hand. He did seem to be shaking his left leg around at times. Fred Johnson filled in for Lane at right tackle (no practice for Markel Bell).

      • DT Jordan Davis suffered an upper body injury and was looked at by trainers. He put a brace on his arm and returned to team drills.

      • TE E.J. Jenkins suffered an upper body injury and was looked at by trainers.

    • DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

      • OT Markel Bell (thumb/leg)

      • S Cole Wisniewski (concussion)

    • REMOVED FROM THE INJURY REPORT:

      • OG Willie Lampkin

        • Lampkin got banged up on Saturday night and missed Monday’s practice.

      • RB Dameon Pierce

        • Pierce missed a lot of camp before recently returning to practice in a limited capacity. Now he’s full go.

      • DT Byron Young

        • Young was limited on Monday.

      • DT Gabe Hall

        • Hall wasn’t actually on the injury report but he did appear to get banged up on Monday. Apparently he’s OK.

  • JALEN HURTS UPDATE: It was hardly all bad for Hurts but there was ultimately more bad than good.

    • THE GOOD:

      • Hurts rolled right and threw across his body (he continues to do this more often than he has in the past, mostly for better than for worse this summer) to find Dontayvion Wicks for a good gain.

      • Hurts threw a nice ball to Saquon Barkley, who made an over-the-shoulder touchdown grab with Zack Baun trailing (see video below).
