Caitlin Clark has been listed as probable for the Indiana Fever‘s meeting with the Connecticut Sun. The star guard is on the injury report again with her back issue.

Indiana released the status report around 24 hours before tip-off on Friday. Clark is in line to play, just as she has been through the last two months.

Fever confirm Clark and Dantas status ahead of the clash against the Sun

Clark has played through the back problem all season and will do so again. The Fever officially confirmed it on their status report: ‘Caitlin Clark, probable (back).’

The hard news came elsewhere. Backup centre Damiris Dantas is out for the rest of the season after knee surgery, listed with the left knee issue that has kept her sidelined.

Her absence leaves the frontcourt thin behind Aliyah Boston, who has also been missing games through injury.

Clark comes into the game in outstanding form. She is averaging 22.1 points, 8.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds, shooting 45% from the field and 36.8% from three-point range, both career highs.

The Fever sit 25-14, fifth in the WNBA and 3.5 games behind the second-placed Golden State Valkyries. Their playoff spot is secured, but a top-four finish is still within reach with a strong finish.
