Guilherme Uriel needed just seconds to choke out Mario Piazzon at Dana White’s Contender Series 89 and give himself a great chance to join the UFC heavyweight division.
After falling short on his previous DWCS bid, Uriel (8-2) made some changes and came back for another try. He took advantage of an early takedown attempt from Mario Piazzon (10-2) and locked in a standing guillotine choke that ended the show just 50 seconds into Round 1.
