The Nashville area’s top-ranked quarterback recruit in the Class of 2027 has announced his home for the next four years.
Antioch’s Andre Adams committed to Colorado and Deion Sanders during a ceremony in the Bears’ auditorium on April 14.

Adams is the state’s No. 8-ranked recruit and the No. 15-ranked quarterback nationally in the 247 Sports Composite. His offer sheet also included Florida State, Virginia Tech, Oregon, Colorado and Mississippi State.

Last season Adams pushed Antioch to the program’s first 10-win campaign since 1958, putting up gaudy numbers as a dual-threat sensation for the Bears. He completed 174-of-245 passes for 3,418 yards with 35 touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing for 855 yards and 13 scores.
In a Week 5 win over Centennial, Adams set the TSSAA record for total yards of offense in a game with 714, throwing for 507 yards while rushing for additional 207 yards.

Adams was a Mr. Football finalist, earned TnFCA and TSWA All-State honors while also being named to The Tennessean’s All-Midstate Large Class Second Team.
