The countdown to college football is on, as only 100 days stand between fans and another season of Minnesota Golden Gopher football, and we now have kickoff times for five of their games this fall.
Head coach P.J. Fleck’s squad will open the season by hosting Eastern Illinois on Thursday, Sep. 3, at Huntington Bank Stadium. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. and streaming on Peacock.

The following week, the Gophers welcome the Mississippi State Bulldogs to the Twin Cities on Saturday, Sep. 12. That game, which will be the first meeting between the two programs, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and air on CBS.
Minnesota closes out their non-conference slate with a home game against the Akron Zips at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sep. 19. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
Fast forward a month to a Homecoming matchup against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, Oct. 24. The battle for the Floyd of Rosedale will start at either 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. The broadcast network is TBD, as well.
Finally, the Battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe will return to Black Friday. The Gophers will head to Camp Randall on Friday, Nov. 27, for a 6:30 p.m. showdown with rival Wisconsin. The game will air on NBC.
