The Big Ten Conference has had quite the run. The last three College Football Playoff national champions reside in the heartland (Indiana, Ohio State, Michigan), the Wolverines just won the NCAA basketball tournament, and several other national championships in other sports.
But that’s not all. The Big Ten also generated the most revenue of any conference based on federal tax filings released recently. According to the public records, the conference generated a record of roughly $1.47 billion in total revenue for the 2024-25 fiscal year, passing the SEC’s reported revenue over that same time of $1.11 billion.

But not all revenue distributions are equal. Newer members receive less, and teams making runs in the College Football Playoff can receive more. So, what teams in the Big Ten led in distributed money from the conference? Here’s a look at each Big Ten school and what they received in distribution for the record revenue the conference generated during 2024-25.
