Ronda Rousey Bashes UFC White House Numbers, Trolls Hunter Campbell Again

by

Ronda Rousey just learned of the official UFC White House viewership numbers and “Rowdy” has no plans of taking the high road.

UFC’s Freedom 250 fight card went down last Sunday and for the most part it delivered across the board. The weather held, every fight ended in a knockout, and roughly 17 million total viewers tuned in to Paramount+ to watch the event. Not to mention the photo and video footage from the White House South Lawn has left fight fans with some of the most iconic visuals in combat sports history.

On the flip side, UFC Freedom 250 didn’t do the type of numbers that some may have originally expected. Even UFC’s Joe Rogan was about 130 million short in his viewership prediction. UFC CEO Dana White still claims Paramount+ was blown away by the numbers, but it seems like UFC’s White House takeover could have done a tad more.

Making matters more interesting for UFC is the fact that the Freedom 250 card couldn’t even beat Jake Paul’s MVP MMA 1 event on Netflix from earlier this year. Of course, that event was headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, which was a women’s MMA superfight that UFC and White ended up passing on. That created a rift between Rousey and UFC, which allowed Paul to swoop in and sign Rousey for his first MMA event ever. Paul also got the likes of former UFC superstars Nate Diaz and Francis Ngannou to fight as well.

After learning about UFC’s White House numbers, Rousey wasted little time taking to social media to rub a little dirt in her former promotion’s face, specifically UFC matchmaker and day-to-day operator Hunter Campbell. Remember, Rousey has already called Campbell a “chauvinistic pig” who is ruining the UFC.
