Banned or not invited? Either way Sean Strickland won’t be in attendance for UFC Freedom 250.
UFC Freedom 250 (Paramount+) takes place Sunday at the White House in Washington, and is headlined by a lightweight title-unification bout between Ilia Topuria (17-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and Justin Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC).

UFC middleweight champion Strickland recently claimed that he was banned from attending the White House event, which Dana White denied by saying it’s Strickland who doesn’t want to be a part of the event. However, Strickland insists that he is not allowed to attend.
“To Dana saying I wasn’t invited… Ill clarify for this to you. After my fight Hunter said he will get it done. UFC filmed it and embedded has the footage. I later got a call from the UFC saying “I wasn’t cleared by the white house”
Strickland (31-7 MMA, 18-7 UFC) has been vocal about his discontent with President Donald Trump’s backing of Israel during its ongoing conflict with Palestine. He explained what made him turn on Trump.
“I stopped supporting Trump after Israel made him bomb Iran the first time… Trump “stop bombing Iran” Israel “Trump we need your bombers” Trump “yes papa BB I got you”
