One former NBA champion is tired of the antics from Enes Kanter amid the controversy surrounding the WNBA.
Kanter has made himself one of the prominent figures in the discourse surrounding the WNBA’s policy regarding inclusivity for players.

And one former NBA star has completely obliterated Kanter’s recent antics and questioned why he’s doing the things he is doing.

Jason Williams blasts ‘stupid’ Enes Kanter for WNBA controversy
Speaking on the Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ podcast, former NBA All-Star Jason Williams ripped into Enes Kanter for his recent push to try and enter the WNBA.
The former Sacramento Kings guard questioned why Kanter is so starved for attention that he is pushing an agenda to get himself in the WNBA.
“Enes Kanter stupid. F— is he doing, dog. Seriously. Why does he want to play with women? Why does he need attention?

“Just do a podcast or some s—. Why the f— do you want to play with girls? I don’t get that, dog. The last thing I want in life is attention. That’s the last thing. I’m not here for attention.
“If I weren’t here with all you guys, I’d still be somewhere talking about the same type of s—. You know what I mean?
“So, attention, bro? You want to play with girls, bro? The f— out of here! You’re 6’10, like 270… His life has been a pile of s— then, if that’s what he likes.
“There’s no need for that. Come on. What does that prove? I hope they let him into the draft and nobody picks his a–. So he’s the only person in the world that wants it.”

Williams is far from the first NBA star to question Kanter’s recent behaviour, as many current and former stars have been baffled by the former Celtics star’s public activity.
However, he makes a completely valid point about Kanter wanting to enter the WNBA to be more dominant than he ever could have been in the NBA.
Kanter didn’t have a bad NBA career by any means, but he certainly became a player that the league felt wasn’t good enough to adapt to the evolving playing style.
The WNBA has made it clear that neither Kanter nor Royce White will be considered eligible to enter the 2027 Draft pool, no matter how much of a public push they make for it.
