Washington‘s top target at wide receiver in the 2027 class is down to three schools.
On Friday afternoon, four-star wide receiver Tre Moore out of Pflugerville Weiss High School in Texas, cut his extensive list of 43 offers down to three: Miami, Ohio State, and Washington. Jedd Fisch’s coaching staff has been pursuing the 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass catcher, who is ranked as the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 21 wide receiver by the 247Sports Composite, for a long time.

Now, they’ll have to compete with two of the other top programs in the country for his services, as he’s locked in official visits with all three. After taking a trip to LSU in mid-April, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett, he’ll visit Miami on June 5 and Ohio State on June 12, before taking another trip to Montlake on June 19.
That will be Moore’s third trip to Washington, following a game-day visit in late October to watch the Huskies upset then-No. 23 Illinois, and an unofficial visit in late April to take in a spring practice.
After racking up 85 catches for 1,443 yards and 19 touchdowns during his junior season, Moore looks like an instant impact player who could push for playing time right away at the X position in Fisch’s offense. Even as the Huskies continue to work in Jordan Clay, Bodpegn Miller, and Justice Williams at the position, Moore’s size, speed, and ability to win in contested catch scenarios could help him work his way into the depth chart as a true freshman.

The Huskies currently have two four-star wide receivers committed in Braylon Pope and Zerek Sidney as part of what is ranked as the nation’s No. 11 class by 247Sports.
